We had a large group gathering for my mother's 60th birthday party. We celebrated at Sherlock's during their Sunday brunch. Not only was the food AWESOME, but the service was out of this world. Mike and all of the others were so wonderful and made it such a special occasion for my mother. We've already heard from about 15 of the people who attended that they are planning to go back as soon as possible!! Thanks for everything, Mike. We will DEFINITELY be back, and we are spreading the word about your wonderful establishment!!

Wow! What a hidden gem. We were there on Dec. 11th. The atmosphere is perfect for a date, family get together or a night out for drinks with friends. The food was utter perfection. We had Salmon and tenderloins. I'm very particular about my salmon and she rarely eats everything on her plate. The salmon was the second best I've ever eaten and she spared me no samplings of her dish. Service was beyond great... we found a great restaurant and couldn't be happier then to reccomend to our friends.

I had dinner at your establishment on Friday Oct 16th and must say that we were pleasantly surprised at the food quality as well as the price. My wife had the filet and she said it was one of the best she has ever had. I had the Walleye and it was fantastic. I live in the area and wish you all the best. Your type of establisment is greatly needed in our area.

The food is excellent, the atmosphere is wonderful, great people in the bar. Cottleville has changed so much in the past few years, I can't believe the changes, Sherlocks is one of the best things to happen along with the beautiful wine garden down the road.

I live in the area and must say that the new menu that Sherlock's is now offering is fantastic. I was there on the 15th of August. My wife loves the Entree salad options and my children always choose from the sandwich list. I love their Walleye which is the best I have had in St. Louis. We love this location and atmosphere with the owners always being on hand. The price is also hard to beat. Post this on your website.

I visited Sherlock's on August 7th after being informed they had an updated menu with a greater selection. We had appetizers, salads, and some cocktails. The food was outstanding and very reasonably priced. I will be back for sure. Steven

My husband and children just had the Sunday Brunch at Sherlock's and we loved it. Our 2 children who are 11 and 6 both ate for free which was a pleasant surprise. The brunch has a wide variety of choices from Eggs Tenderloin Benedict, Eggs Sordot with Smoked Salmon(INCREDIBLE), omelet station, Walleye, several kinds of pasta, fresh fruit, and more. A carving station serving Prime Rib & Ham was my personal favorite. I normally don't do these reviews but this is a long overdue Sunday Brunch to our area and I couldn't resist. We will be back. I highly recommend this to all, especially families. Oh yeah and I have to mention the dessert table which was great. Please post this on your website.

My wife and I celebrated our 17th wedding anniversary at Sherlock's on May 23rd. We both had the special that night which was surf and turf - a wonderful filet paired with lobster. It was an outstanding meal. All of the staff as well as one of the co-owners, Mike Holmes, took exceptionally good care of us. Terry Beck was playing on the outdoor patio that night so we ended up spending nearly 4.5 hours there between dinner and music under the stars. We even received a complimentary dessert for our anniversary. It was a wonderful evening and I highly recommend this place.

My wife and I had dinner at Sherlock's on Saturday April 25th and had a wonderful time. My wife had the Capelini Forensa priced at $12.95, and I had the Lump Crab Cakes at $18.95. Entrèes come with a choice of soup or salad and a side. I would put Sherlock's crab cakes up against any restaurant in St. Louis. The meal was great and more importantly we got out of their for under $50 which is impressive at a place of this caliber. What a great place and wonderful patio area to have dinner!!!

My girlfriends and I had dinner at Sherlock's on Friday 4/17 and sat out on the patio which was fantastic. I don't normally do these testimonials but felt I had to share my experience about this locally owned establishment. We had the Walleye, Jamaican Jerk Chicken, Capelini Forensa, and the Pasta Primavera. All entrèes were fantastic. We enjoyed several bottles of wine on the patio, and then went inside to the bar and listened to Canadien Dave who was singing in the bar. Dave is a very talented singer. Mike, one of the owners, went out of his way to make sure we enjoyed ourselves. The food was moderately priced for this kind of establishment and the service was great. We just had dinner at Sherlock's on Saturday, April 18th and loved it. We had our two young children with us and it was a great experience. There are now lower priced entrees on the menu in addition to the great steak and seafood. My husband had a New York Strip which he absolutely loved while I had the Walleye which was the best Walleye I have ever had. The kids ordered off the kids menu which was a great deal.

Our small gradeschool class of 1985 had our reunion at Sherlocks 3/20, we had put much effort into finding all of our classmates and were looking forward to this event. I must say that we were all so pleased with the atmosphere, food, and most of all the outstanding service. Many of us were impressed with Micheal who went above and beyond to take care of all of our needs and make us feel like we were old friends of his not just eachothers. I highly recommend this restaurant for a small party - we had between 25 and 30 people and we were very comfortable and WELL taken care of. What a special treat to have been in such a fine establishment for such a special event! I promise you will not regret giving Sherlocks a visit for a small party or even just for two!

I used the banquet facility at Sherlock's with 35 people and loved it. The owner went out of his way to accommodate our needs. A great addition to St. Charles county. The food is fantastic with a prime cut filet that is one of the best in the St. Louis area. I will be using this banquet facility again in the future.

Sherlock's is a much needed addition to St Charles County. There isn't a non-chain restaurant of this caliber anywhere in St Charles. Their cuts of meat are great and seafood specials like the "surf and turf" specials gives this place a unique feel. I would definitely recommend Sherlock's. The price is middle of the road for what you get. All entree's include 2 side dishes which is a good deal. Nice unique setting in old town Cottleville.

The menu items are moderatly priced and well perportioned. Service is well above average. The cusine is exceptional. This is the finest dining establishment in our area. I can not think of any place that compares in St.Charles county. We dined there when it was Travina's (sp?) and there is no comparison. Sherlock's just opened before the end of the year with all new people and will soon be the place to go for that special occasion in the St. Charles area.
